System Requirements

In order to achieve the best remote media access experience possible, please ensure that your system meets the following requirements:

Operating Systems

  • Windows Vista
    Note: Intel® Remote Wake Technology currently works on Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate only
  • Windows XP (Home or Professional) with Service Pack 2
  • Windows XP Media Center Edition (2004 or 2005)

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

  • Intel Pentium IV 3.0 GHz processor or AMD Athlon 3800+ or equivalent
    Note: A slower processor may cause excessive buffering, or "choppiness" when streaming videos and TV
  • 1GB memory
  • At least 100MB disk space. We recommend at least 1GB disk space for media storage and transfer
  • TV Tuner card* (View all compatible cards here)
  • Webcam** (View all compatible webcams here)
  • Intel® Remote Wake Technology enabled motherboard*** (View all compatible motherboard models here)

Internet Connection:

  • Broadband
    Note: Intel® Remote Wake Technology requires a wired broadband connection

Software Requirements:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+ for Windows or Mozilla Firefox 2.0+
  • Flash Player 10 (Download here)
  • Windows Media Player 11 (Download here)
